The Oblate Legacy: Priests of Immaculate Heart of Mary
Rev. Anastacio Perez, OMI
First Pastor | 1927–1928
Father Perez and the people raised enough funds to build a two story building. The downstairs became the Chapel and the upstairs was the pastor's residence and classrooms for the religion classes. The building was completed November 8, 1926.
Father Nicolas Diez, OMI
Was the 5th pastor (1934 to 1946). He was a hard worker. He knew how to raise money. He wanted to build a church. Bishop C.E. Byrne said Parochial School and Catholic Education takes reference over a Church. In 1945 the present school building was dedicated.
